Executive Director of State Hospital Services Management Board Dr Bello Abubakar Attahiru issued the warning while presenting the Drugs to General Hospitals of Wurno, Goronyo, Binji, Tangaza and Dogon Daji.

He reminded them that the Drugs were meant for the patients free.

The Executive Director said the Board would ensure effective monitoring of the Drugs to avoid diversion.

Information Officer of the Ministry Nura Bello Maikwanci in a statement said Dr Bello Abubakar Attahiru said the provision of the Drugs coupled with the posting of Health personnel in areas that recorded the outbreak of the disease has greatly assisted in curbing its spread.

Responding on behalf of the benefiting Hospitals, the Secretary of Goronyo General Hospital Abdulrahaman Muhammad Bara’u thanked the State government and pledged to ensure judicious use of the Drugs.

The occasion was witnessed by the Director General State Drugs and Medical Supply Management Agency Pharmacist Umar Attahiru and Directors of the Board.
