Manchester United Linked to Borussia Dortmund’s Karim Adeyemi

Manchester United have reportedly opened discussions regarding Borussia Dortmund forward Karim Adeyemi, according to Sky Sport Germany. The Premier League side is said to be among several clubs that have spoken with Adeyemi’s new agent, renowned super-agent Jorge Mendes.

Adeyemi, 23, has scored three goals in 13 appearances across the Bundesliga and Champions League this season, with Dortmund currently third in the German top flight.

Despite the interest, the situation remains preliminary. Sky reports that negotiations have “stalled,” stressing that there is “no movement” at this stage. The outlet also dismissed claims that Adeyemi has already chosen to leave Dortmund, calling such rumours “unfounded.”

For United—currently seventh in the Premier League and looking to strengthen their attack—Adeyemi is an appealing prospect. However, any potential deal appears to be in its very early stages.
