Marafa, Adamawa APC Youths Pay Condolence Visit to Northeast Vice Chairman

By Idibia Gabriel, Kaduna

Chairman of the Amalgamation of APC Youth Organizations in Adamawa State, Amb. Mohammed Ahmed Marafa, has led a delegation on a condolence visit to the APC National Vice Chairman (Northeast), Comrade Mustapha Salihu, PhD.

The visit, held at Salihu’s Dougirei residence in Yola, followed the death of his elder brother, Engr. Salihu Muhammad Barde, who passed away in Bauchi and has since been buried according to Islamic rites.

Speaking during the visit, Marafa described the late Barde as a man of humility and integrity whose life of service would remain a source of inspiration to many. He said the delegation came to console Comrade Salihu in his moment of grief and to show solidarity with him as a dependable leader whose contributions continue to strengthen the APC in Adamawa and across the Northeast.

Co-Chairman of the coalition, Nurudden Nyako, also extolled the virtues of the deceased, describing him as a generous man dedicated to community service. He said Barde’s impact extended beyond family bonds, touching many lives across Adamawa.

On his part, the coalition’s Secretary, Dr. Abraham Tizhe Musa, described the late Barde as an honest and hardworking man who lived a purposeful life worthy of emulation. He prayed for Almighty Allah to grant the deceased eternal rest in Jannatul Firdaus and strengthen the family.

The youth leaders reaffirmed their loyalty to Comrade Salihu, describing him as a unifying force and a rallying point for the APC’s progress in Adamawa and the entire Northeast.
