Mark D’Ball Basketball Championship Founder Supports Air Warriors After Tragic Accident

Igoche Mark, founder of the Mark D’Ball Basketball Championship, has extended heartfelt support to the Air Warriors Basketball Club following a tragic bus accident on their way to a tournament in Lagos. The incident, which occurred near Gwagwalada, FCT, resulted in injuries to players, coaches, and fans, but thankfully no fatalities were reported.

In a letter addressed to Chairman Abdulmajid Solademi, Mark offered words of comfort and encouragement, emphasizing the importance of unity and resilience in overcoming challenges. He acknowledged the outpouring of support from the sports community and expressed confidence in the Air Warriors’ ability to emerge stronger from this adversity.

“Together, with determination and a shared commitment to unity, the Air Warriors Basketball Club aims to rise above this setback and inspire others with their unwavering passion for the game,” Mark wrote in his letter.

Chairman Solademi expressed gratitude for the support received, highlighting the power of unity during times of crisis. As the Air Warriors embark on their journey to recovery, they do so with the assurance that they are not alone, drawing strength from the collective spirit of the basketball community.
