Nollywood actress Etinosa Idemudia has strongly criticized Nigerian singer Harrysong following revelations about his marriage crisis and the ill-treatment of his wife, Alexer.

In a recent interview with media personality Daddy Freeze, Alexer detailed her husband’s repeated infidelity and the challenges within their marriage. She disclosed that Harrysong had confessed to marrying her out of pity, admitting he never loved her. Alexer expressed concerns about the singer’s constant cheating, leading to numerous treatments for infections. The desire for a male child, causing friction in their relationship, was also highlighted.

Reacting to the revelations, Etinosa took to Instagram to share her own experience of a past failed marriage at the age of 22, referring to her ex-husband as a “monster.” She urged parents to alleviate the pressure on young individuals to marry early, emphasizing how some men prefer younger wives for perceived ease of control.

Etinosa criticized Harrysong for his bias against female children, asserting that women are making significant contributions globally. She cited the achievements of former Nigerian minister Okonjo Iweala and herself as examples. Etinosa condemned the discrimination against female children in the modern era, highlighting the injustice faced by innocent children in the process.

In her post, Etinosa wrote, “Only a fool will discriminate against a female child over a male child. In this 2024? Is Okonjo Iweal a joke to you? Is Etinosa Idemudia a joke to you? Keep sleeping on the girl child you illiterate.” She also criticized the notion of seeking a male child as a priority, emphasizing that biological gender is determined by the father’s contribution.

The actress concluded by challenging the prevalent belief about education being a scam and highlighted the need for improved parenting to raise responsible sons who respect and value women.
