Mercy Chinwo Accuses Ex-Manager of Fraud and Exploitation

By  Milcah  Tanimu

Gospel singer Mercy Chinwo has accused her former manager, Ezekiel ThankGod (Eezee Tee), of contract fraud, exploitation, and threats. According to Chinwo, Eezee Tee allegedly altered her contract without her consent in 2019 and attempted to control her career through intimidation.

She claims he told her, “I made you who you are, and I will destroy you,” forcing her to relocate for safety reasons. Additionally, she alleges he spread false rumors about her child due to his personal conflicts with fellow gospel artist Pastor Nathaniel Bassey.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has taken up the case, and Eezee Tee is set to be arraigned on February 14, 2025. In an emotional video, Mercy Chinwo expressed distress over the situation, gaining widespread support from fans and fellow artists in the Nigerian gospel music industry.

This controversy has sparked discussions about artist exploitation in the entertainment industry. Stay tuned for further updates on the Mercy Chinwo ex-manager controversy.
