The Minister-designate from Plateau State, Dr. Barnard Mohammed Doro, has paid a courtesy visit to Senator Simon Bako Lalong, who represents Plateau South Senatorial District and serves as the leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, to express appreciation for his support during his ministerial nomination and confirmation process.
During the visit in Abuja, Dr. Doro thanked Senator Lalong for his encouragement and guidance, noting that his consistent leadership and mentorship played a vital role in ensuring his successful confirmation by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In a similar development, two newly promoted Commissioners of Police of Plateau origin — CP Sebastine Moorkwap and CP Nendel Gomwalk — also visited Senator Lalong to express gratitude for his fatherly support and attendance at their recent decoration ceremony conducted by the Inspector General of Police.
The officers commended Senator Lalong for his mentorship and contributions to their professional growth, describing their elevation as “a call to higher responsibility.” They pledged to continue upholding the principles of **professionalism, fairness, and accountability** in the discharge of their duties.
Responding, Senator Lalong congratulated Dr. Doro and the two Commissioners on their respective achievements, acknowledging their records of humility, dedication, and service to the nation.
