Moment Timaya Falls on Stage While Attempting to Lift Plus-Sized Fan

Afrobeats star Timaya caused a buzz at the Gbaramatu Christmas Carnival in Delta State after a stage stunt during his performance went wrong.

While entertaining fans with his 2013 hit song “Ukwu,” the singer invited a plus-sized female fan on stage. As the beat dropped, Timaya attempted to lift her, but lost his balance in the process, causing both of them to tumble onto the stage.

The moment, captured on video, quickly went viral on social media. The crowd initially reacted with surprise and gasps, but the mood soon shifted to cheers as Timaya handled the situation calmly and professionally, reassuring the fan and continuing the performance.

The unexpected fall added a memorable twist to the night, with fans praising the singer for taking the mishap in stride and keeping the energy alive.
