“Mr Ibu’s Health Update: Successful Surgeries and Gratitude Amid Recovery

Nigerian actor John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu, has undergone five successful surgeries after seeking medical assistance for a serious ailment. Celebrating his 63rd birthday from his hospital bed, he appealed to Nigerians for financial support to cover his medical expenses, fearing the potential loss of his leg. In a recent Instagram statement, he expressed gratitude for the overwhelming response from well-wishers and donors, highlighting the timely and vital contributions. Mr Ibu confirmed that he is currently recovering in the ICU after the surgeries and thanked the public for their prayers and support. The family is still counting on continued prayers as they hope for his swift stabilization, aiming to facilitate his travel abroad for advanced treatment. The John Okafor family extends heartfelt thanks to all Nigerians for their support during this challenging time.”
