Adamu Muazu Former National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Aon Wednesday met with Prof. Yomi Osibanjo the Vice President, behind closed doors at tge Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja

The meeting which lasted for about an hour held at the Vice President’s office, Presidential Villa, Abuja.

When State House correspondents sought to know the reasons behind his visit, he bluntly declined to comment.

However, sources within the presidency alleged that he came to thank the Vice President who attended the wedding ceremony of his daughter, recently.

It was not clear whether the former governor of Bauchi state was at the villa in connection with plans to defect to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He was famed for leading the PDP to defeat in the 2015 general elections, which brought in Muhammadu Buhari as President.

The ex-PDP Boss travelled out of the country, after his party lost to the APC. He recently returned after spending three years on account of his daughter’s wedding.

His absence, many believed, was as a result of the defeat suffered by the PDP while he was at the helm of affairs‎.
