Muslims Urged To Construct And Maintain Mosques For Allah’s Mercies And Forgiveness

The need for intending Pilgrims to desist from anything capable of invalidating their pilgrimage have been emphasized.

Deputy Chief Imam of Sultan Hassan Danmuazu Jumuat Mosque, Runjin Sambo, Malam Zakaria Ahmad made the plea in his Friday sermon.

He said it was in consideration that some of the intending Pilgrims invalidated their pilgrimage due to some infractions they commit and called on prospective pilgrims to fear Allah in the cause of their Hajj performance.

According to him, it was to ensure acceptable pilgrimage before Allah and then spoke on rules and regulations governing pilgrimage and as well emphasized on intending pilgrims to abide them.

He explained that the reward for acceptable pilgrimage as taught by Prophet Muhammad is Paradise.

Also the Chief Imam of Sultan Muhammad Maccido Jumuat Mosque along Emir Yahaya road, Dr. Mahmud Sani Dagoggo spoke on the significance of maintenance of Mosques admonishing Muslims to intensify efforts in construction and renovation of Mosques in their respective areas.

He said only those who believe and fear Allah give emphasis in the maintenance of Mosques and stressed the need for wealthy Muslims to step up efforts to keeping the Mosques in order to ensure Allah’s mercies and forgiveness.
