NAF Success Rooted in Professionalism, Discipline – Air Marshal Abubakar

By   Milcah   Tanimu

At the 4th Quarter Conference in Abuja, the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar, credited the Nigerian Air Force’s (NAF) success to the professionalism, discipline, and dedication of its personnel. Speaking to the Air Warrant Officers (AWOs) and Regimental Sergeant Majors (RSMs), Abubakar highlighted their pivotal role in upholding the NAF’s values, enforcing discipline, and mentoring airmen and airwomen.

The CAS commended the AWOs and RSMs for their contributions to the successful NAF 60th Anniversary celebrations earlier in May. He reiterated that their continued commitment is vital for the transformation and operational excellence of the NAF.

This conference, he said, serves as both a review and strategic dialogue, offering an opportunity to identify improvements and discuss challenges while reinforcing leadership at all levels. Abubakar also emphasized the importance of aligning with his Command Philosophy to ensure operational success and enhance the NAF’s resilience in meeting national security demands.
