Naira Marley Speaks Out Following MohBad’s Tragic Passing

By  Milcah  Tanimu

On the 13th of September 2023, Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley and the head of Marlian Records, has finally broken his silence in the wake of the heartbreaking demise of his former protege, MohBad, which occurred on Tuesday.

Naira Marley, renowned for hits like ‘Soapy,’ used his Instagram stories to express his grief, sharing a simple heartbreak emoji as a poignant tribute to MohBad.

This development followed the resurfacing of an old video featuring singer Bella Shmurda in an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo. In the video, Bella Shmurda made startling claims that MohBad had faced such dire circumstances that he had attempted suicide at some point during his association with Marlian Records.
