Nasarawa state police command paraded suspected kidnapers of CAN chairman, retired immigration officer and the wife of eggon youth chairman Mrs Ruth Daniel enyabuga.
The commissioner of police, Bola Longe who confirmed this today while briefing reporters at the police headquarter in lafia saying the police have arrested twenty seven suspected aremed Robers and kidnapers terrorizing Mararaba gwandara areas, Makurdi-Lafia road, Obi, awe Azara Roads, Garaku, Kokona local Government areas respectively.
Bola also said the police while acting on credible intelligence condoned on the vicinity of Aro Hospital located at Jenkwe development area succeeded in arresting the kidnapers of Bishop John Masin, the chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria Nasarawa Chapter, and Ruth Daniel Enyabuga, wife of Eggon Youth Leader in Nasarawa State.
Longe further stressed that police personnel while working on actionable intelligence led to the arrest of the criminal gang that killed a superintendent of immigration and a woman in Gudi, adding that the suspect is cooperating with the police while efforts are on going to arrest other suspects.
The commissioner however appreciated members of the public, traditional Rulers and other security agencies for their support that created room for the positive achievements for the past few months, adding that the police will not rest on its paddles, however solicit for more information and synergy from members of the public for greater job so as to protect the lives and properties of citizens.
