Nasarawa State Govt. hands over 778 dispatched Terrorist wives and Children to 17 states.

Not fewer than  778 women and children  of dispatched  terrorists in Nasarawa State last week where handed over to Governors from 17 states from the north east and north central part of the country.

The commander in charge of Doma special Armed forces brigadier General moundehele Kagama Ali stated this while delivering a brief to Governors traditional rulers and newsmen in the handing over ceremony at the 123 Special Forces Battalion Headquarters, Doma Nasarawa State. 
He stressed that the families of the terrorists   to be handed over to 17 states  includes wives and children of the terrorists dislodged from Otu Forest in Toto Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.


According to him, 410 members of the Darul Salam terror group surrendered to the troops of “Operation Whirl Stroke” during an encounter at Uttu in Toto Local Government Area, Tuesday, August 25, 2020.
Kagama however said it is as a result of the proactive steps taken by President Buhari and Gov. Sule led to the  discovering of a bomb factory as well as apprehending of over 400 wives and children of the killed member of Darul Salam.
The army boss also revealed that while on a robust clearance patrol around Uttu, ammunitions where  discovered from  the  terrorists such as improvised explosive device making materials, including two scales, puncher bombs, bag of fertiliser and half a bag of gunpowder and a bomb making factory were also recovered.
Also speaking,  the Executive governor of Niger state ably represented by his deputy Alhaji Ahmed Muhammad ketso said the government is pleased with the armed forces and  will be ready to provide more support, adding that they are fully prepared to convey the wife’s and children of the dispatched terrorist back to Niger state. 
Ketso said for  clarification, the state will interview the women  investigation to ascertain whether they are truly women from the state  if proven otherwise the state  governor will take necessary action.
He further appreciated the effort of the Nigerian army and other security outfit that ensured the Sucess of the entire operations.
On his part, the executive governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello represented by his special assistant on security, commander Duro jerry rtd said the government of Kogi state will not negotiate with terrorist, thereby appreciate the effort of the Nasarawa state government for accepting to use the state as  venue for the event.
He also said all the families from kogi state will be accepted and integrated into the societal structure of the state. 
In his remark the governor of Nasarawa state engr. Abdulahi Sule represented by the deputy Governor Dr. Emmanuel Akabi appreciated the armed Forces for flushing this criminal elements off the their hideout, affirming the continual support of the government of Nasarawa state towards ensuring peace and security in  the state and Nigeria in general.
Sule further pledged to support the military in the state with the necessary support needed asking citizens to share information capable of helping the military. Adding that the state will accept the families of the terrorist, and integrate them in the state.
