The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ, FCT chapter has commended the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Mallam Muhammad Musa Belllo for his dogged fight to stop the spread of COVID-19 in the capital city and it’s environs
NAWOJ C FCT Chairperson Comrade stella Okoh-Esene who gave the commendation yesterday at the State Council office appreciated the Minister’s efforts for combing Mpape, a suburb and other in communities around the FCT in ctivebcase search for COVID-19.
In a press statement signed by the Secretary, Comrade Amaka Solomon and made available to Daybreak the association also appreciated the FCT for distributing palliatives to the people to cushion them and also for reducing the market days from three to two days in a week, saying that this will help stop the spread of the virus.
Okoh- Esene said, ” We also want to use this opportunity to express our gratitude to the Honourable Minister of State, Ramatu Tijani Aliyu, for the dogerdity in making sure the palliative care gets to the rightful Vulnerable.
She also urged FCT citizens to exercise patience as the health workers are doing their best to ensure that the Corona virus will soon be a thing of the past.
