The staffers of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, NCPC, salute the Executive Secretary of the Commission, Bishop Stephen Adegbite on Saturday as he marked his 56th birthday.
In message to mark the day, issued by Deputy Director, Media and Publicity, Celestine Toruka, stated that staff collectively celebrate the NCPC boss for his undaunted and innovative strides.
“Under his leadership, Bishop Adegbite brought in remarkable innovations into the Commission, some of which include staff welfare and motivations , staff capacity building, auctioning
of official used cars and other people oriented programmes, among others.”
The NCPC boss who was born on 17th August, 1968 in Oyo state, the South West region, was ordained minister of God, after graduation from the Immanuel Seminary in Oyo state.
He has served in the vineyard for over three decades after his education at the University of Ibadan, Ibadan where he bagged his first degree, Masters and Doctor of Philosophy , PhD in Comparative Christian Religion and Ethics.
He is currently the Metropolitan Bishop , Methodist Church Nigeria, Ikeja Diocese, Lagos state.
The NCPC boss is also the Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN Lagos state, Chairman of the Christian Council of Nigeria, South West and a member of the Nigeria Interreligious Council, NIREC.
Bishop Adegbite was appointed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the 4th substantive Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission on 5th February, 2024.
