NCPC To Commence 2025 Easter Pilgrimage Exercise To Israel, Jordan

By Joyce Remi-Babayeju

The Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, NCPC, is set to commence the 2025 delayed Easter Pilgrimage to Israel and Jordan.

To ensure a seamless pilgrimage exercise , the commission organized an in-house orientation program for all staff members to adequately prepare them mentally, physically, and operationally for the exercise.

Speaking at the orientation program, which took place on Friday at the Commission’s Chapel in Abuja, the Executive Secretary of NCPC, Bishop Prof. Stephen Adegbite, reinstated the Commission’s commitment to embark on another pilgrimage operation, which is the delayed 2025 Easter Pilgrimage exercise, next week.

He said, “This is another operation and exercise in the presence of God.”

According to him, the greatest room in the world is the room of improvement, and, as such, staff should be ready to learn as they go into the field with the pilgrims.
He also implored them to always put in their best in what they do, stating that “God is the rewarder of those that seek him diligently.”
Bishop Adegbite enjoined the staff to go into the operation with a plain mind and render assistance to pilgrims who might need their help, especially the elderly.

He stated that he operates an open-door policy, and, as such, his office is open to the staff, adding that he is the chief servant of the commission and not the boss.

He further explained that the 2025 delayed Easter Pilgrimage exercise is made up of only four flights, after which the commission will shift its attention in earnest to the preparation for the Main Pilgrimage exercise.

The NCPC boss, therefore, called on the staff of the commission to ensure that all hands must be on deck to make the 2025 main pilgrimage exercise to Israel and Jordan a giant success.
