NDYC Coordinator to Make presentation at the Africa Asia Youth Forum Summit

The National Coordinator of Niger Delta Youth Council, Engr. Jator Abido will today make a presentation at the ongoing first Asia-Africa Youth Forum Summit holding in Addis Ababa Ethiopia from 27th to 28th of July, 2022.

In a statement issued by NDYC, the youth leader will be a guest speaker at the forum which seeks to brainstorm on ways to better our continent especially in the area of exporting indigenous skills from the Niger Delta as well as how to manage crisis and youth restiveness in the face of resource exploitation.

“Our coordinator is scheduled to attend a conference in Ethiopia where he’ll be the Keynote Speaker. He’ll be sharing his vast knowledge on youth mobilisation and empowerment in the oil rich Niger Delta of Nigeria. The conference will also discuss ways of exporting skilled manpower from the
region and Nigeria at large to the outside world such fishing, craftsmanship, local artisanship crude oil refining, under water welding and so on”, the statement noted.

The NYCN Coordinator is equally scheduled to meet with the president and prime minister of Ethiopia, legislative and executive members as well as captains of industry and stakeholders in youth development and empowerment within and outside on the sidelines of the youth summit.

As a national and international stakeholder in youth development, he’ll be expected back into the country before the end of the month to continue the work of nation building, youth empowerment and mobilisation as the nation prepares for the 2023 general elections
