Ngige to contest for President in 2023

The Minister of Labour and Employment, Senator Chris Ngige has declared interest to contest for the Presidential seat for 2023.

On Sunday, his media Office stated that he has been consulting opposition political parties and stakeholders in All Progressive Congress (APC); also stating his reasons for consulting opposition parties while addressing his supporters Amansea, a border town with Enugu State , that his aspiration had a cross- party appeal.

Ngige added that, his stewardship as a civil servant, governor, senator stood him apart; also stating that projects they achieved in 34 months in Anambra,those who did eight years have not done them.

He mentioned some of his achievements and projects he did,that he had an advantage of being part of this government and part of the 7th Senate’ that he plan to re- engineer Nigeria the way he engineered Anambra.

His media Office also stated that, He is scheduled to publicly declare his intention on 19th April.
