President Muhammadu Buhari and President Nana Akufo-Addo of Ghana held a private parley Sunday night.
The leaders met at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Buhari’s Personal Assistant on New Media, confirmed the meeting on his Twitter handle.
Although, no details were provided, the meeting centered on Nigeria, Ghana relations and recent face-off.
In August, Ghana authorities closed Nigerian traders’ shops.
They cited a $1million equity stipulated by the Ghana Investment Promotions Council.
Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, summoned Ghana’s Charge d’Affaires to Nigeria, Ms Iva Denoo, over the development..
Last week, Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo met with representatives of the Nigerian community.
He assured that the government was looking into the situation and Nigeria will get justice for its nationals.
