Nigerian Artist Portable Attacked and Hospitalized After Show Dispute

Popular Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, widely known as Portable, has shared a distressing incident on his Instagram story, revealing that he was attacked in his home. According to Portable, a group of men reportedly stormed his residence, assaulting him severely, allegedly in response to his failure to perform at a paid show.

Expressing his pain and gratitude for divine protection, Portable disclosed that he had been rushed to the hospital for medical attention. Despite feeling wronged by the attackers, he acknowledged the role of God in his life and emphasized that, although surrounded by enemies, he finds solace in the belief that God’s protection prevails.

In his Instagram story posts, Portable conveyed his ordeal, stating, “Omo Ologo surrounded by my enemies. Na God dey cover me Zazuu. These people really do me bad but thank God say man no be God. Am in pain, on my way to the hospital.”
