Nigerian Defence Academy Announces Range Exercise in Kaduna, Advises Communities to Steer Clear

The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) has announced the commencement of a range classification exercise for cadets of Direct Short Service Course 28 (Army) and Direct Short Service Course 32 (Air Force). The exercises will take place from June 25 to 28.

In a statement released by the academy’s spokesperson, Maj. Mohammed Maidawa, on Monday in Kaduna, the public, especially residents of the Mando, Tsamiya, Kauya, and Afaka communities, are advised to avoid the area.

The exercise will be conducted at the NDA Open Range in Afaka. Maj. Maidawa assured the public that comprehensive safety measures have been implemented to ensure the smooth and secure conduct of the exercise. He emphasized the importance of avoiding the area during this period to prevent any incidents or disruptions.
