Nollywood Actress Doris Ogala Allegedly Attempts Suicide Amid Relationship Crisis With Pastor Chris Okafor

Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has reportedly attempted suicide following the collapse of an alleged relationship with Pastor Chris Okafor, founder of Liberation City Church, Ojodu Berger, Lagos.

In a viral video circulating on social media, the visibly distressed actress accused the cleric of ruining her life. The 44-year-old claimed she had been in an intimate relationship with Pastor Okafor since 2017 and said the experience left her emotionally, physically, and financially devastated.

Speaking through tears, Ogala alleged that she lost everything because of the relationship. She claimed she suffered miscarriages, experienced persistent health challenges, and lost her brother under mysterious circumstances during that period. According to her, the pastor allegedly convinced her to leave her marriage with promises of marriage, only to later announce his engagement to another woman.

Her emotional outburst came shortly after a video surfaced online showing Pastor Okafor proposing to a woman at a private ceremony attended by family and friends. The engagement reportedly became public just hours before Ogala released her video.

As the controversy gained traction online, Nollywood actor Digidi Dunhill shared a video on Sunday showing himself taking the actress to the hospital. In the footage, Ogala appeared to have injured herself, with visible bleeding from her hand.

Dunhill could be heard expressing concern as he said, “Please, I don’t know who this Chris is. Whoever you are, please you have to come to her aid because she cut her hand. Doris, are you trying to commit suicide?”

The incident has sparked widespread concern on social media, with many calling for calm, professional intervention, and support for the actress amid the unfolding situation.
