Normalcy Returned To Saye, Bankaura Towns After Clashes

As a result of a clash that occurred Friday during a football match between Bankaura and Saye Teams, normal businesses have now in progress at the two warring Towns as monitored by our correspondent.

As at the time of filling this report, our correspondent reported that although there is the presence of security agencies around the two Towns, people have continued with their normal activities after the clash which left many people injured.

Malam Yusuf Saye, a resident of Saye Town told Daybreak News that no live is lost and everything is in control especially when the security agencies cordoned off the area to prevent counter attack from both sides while the community leaders were seen busy reconciling the two sides.

Speaking to our correspondent, a retired civil servant malam Gambo Boza Saye commended the efforts of Bichi local government council chaidman Dr. Yusuf Mohammed Sabo for his good efforts to ensure that peace reign in the area respectively.

Similarly,at Bankaura Town, Malam Adamu Bankaura disclosed that authorities should take necessary action against violence during football matches, where he thanked Bichi council chairman, the security agencies, traditional rulers and all those who have a helping hands in the restoration of peace and unity in the area.

In conclusion, people who were interviewed by our correspondent lamented that a strong measure should be taken to ensure that clashes in football become a history in the area an other places that are having rivalry because games were being organised to promote unity and loving one another.
