Northern Group Applauds Umahi’s Equitable Distribution of Infrastructure

By Jabiru Hassan.

The *Democratic Dividends Monitors Association* (DDM), a northern youth group, has urged the people of northern Nigeria to disregard criticisms aimed at the Minister of Works, Senator David Nweze Umahi, regarding the alleged neglect of certain regions.

In a two-page press statement signed by the group’s national chairman, Comrade Adamu Suleiman Nappa, DDM condemned the allegations, stating they are baseless in light of the Ministry of Works’ ongoing efforts nationwide.

“We are confident that Senator Umahi is working diligently to ensure that all projects are completed during the Tinubu administration. His focus on assessing road damage caused by flooding across many parts of Northern Nigeria is particularly commendable,” the statement read.

The group also mentioned that after reviewing reports from national publications, they found no truth to the claims of bias, noting that Umahi is making significant progress in rehabilitating deteriorated roads across the country.

DDM called on Nigerians to thoroughly investigate any claims before making accusations against leaders and announced that the group would soon release a final report detailing their findings on the Ministry of Works’ performance under Senator Umahi.
