NSIPA debunks misleading news over payment of monitors, beneficiaries

The National Social Investment Programmes Agency, NSIPA, has debunked a viral news that the Federal Government has approved the outstanding payment for independent monitors and other beneficiaries of the National Social Investment Programme, NSIP.

In a statement issued today by the NSIPA, made available to Daybreak, the agency stated that the information is not new, and it does not represent any recent development.

“We urge the public to disregard such misleading content and to verify any information through reliable sources.”

“We wish to clarify that this information is not new and does not represent any recent developments. The news being shared is outdated and is being falsely presented as breaking news,”

We encourage Nigerians to stay informed by following our official channels and to be cautious of misinformation spread by mischief-makers. the agency stated.
