NTAC DG, Buba Yakub, Mourns Adamawa APC Deputy Chairman, Tadawus

Says the Late Party Official Gave His Best to the Party and Will Be Missed Greatly

By Jabiru Hassan

The death of Chief Ismaila Tadawus, Deputy Chairman of the APC in Adamawa State, has been described as a great loss to the party at a time when it was beginning to re-position itself for a more effective role in the next general elections.

In a letter addressed to the State Working Committee of the party and made available to his media handlers on Thursday in Abuja, the Director General of the Nigerian Technical Aid Corps, Rt. Hon. Yusuf Buba Yakub, stated that Chief Tadawus, during his service to the people, worked diligently to promote the APC across the nooks and crannies of Adamawa State.

He added that the demise of the APC stalwart, whose wisdom and experience had provided many valuable insights that guided the party through difficult moments, was a significant loss.

While praying for the peaceful repose of the deceased’s soul, the former federal lawmaker condoled with his family, the State Executive, and the entire APC faithful in Adamawa State over the loss.

In the words of the NTAC DG: “It is with a very sad heart that I write to convey my deepest sympathies to Mr. Chairman, the State Exco, and the entire members of our great party in Adamawa State on the loss of Chief Ismaila Tadawus, who until his sad demise a few days ago, was the State Deputy Chairman of our party.

“Chief Tadawus was a strong and committed party man who gave his best in building and developing the APC in both our communities and across the state. His experience and words of wisdom had on many occasions provided great insights that ensured quality guidance for the running of our dear party in our state.

“He will surely be missed for all the things he brought to the table as a respected party man, especially at this time when preparations are in top gear to seek a new pride of place for the APC in our dear state.

“For myself and my dear family, and on behalf of the Nigerian Technical Aid Corps (NTAC), which by your kind support and prayers I currently head, I convey to all the APC faithful and the immediate family of our late brother, uncle, and associate our deepest condolences on his sad demise.

“I also pray for the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss and for his kind soul to enjoy sweet repose until we meet again on Resurrection Morning.”

Chief Ismaila Tadawus passed away in Yola earlier this week after a brief illness. He is survived by a wife, children, and other members of his immediate family, as stated in a release issued to newsmen by Nkem Anyata-Lafia, Special Assistant to the DG, NTAC, on Media and Publicity.
