Nurse Who Treated Mohbad Apprehended, Confirms Iyabo Ojo

By Daniel Edu

The nurse who treated the late Nigerian rapper, Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, prior to his passing, has been apprehended by the Lagos State Police Command. This development was confirmed by Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, who visited the State Police Commissioner, Idowu Owohunwa.

Iyabo Ojo shared this significant update with her followers through a video posted on her Instagram page on Wednesday night. In her briefing, she discussed her visit to the Lagos State Commissioner of Police and the ongoing police investigation into the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death.

She disclosed, “The police have made some arrests [in connection with Mohbad’s death]. The nurse has been arrested. That I know. That’s the only information I can give you right now. They have arrested some people. They are asking some people to turn themselves in.”

It is worth recalling that Mohbad’s father, James Aloba, had expressed suspicions in an interview, suggesting that the auxiliary nurse who administered an injection to Mohbad might have contributed to his son’s deteriorating health.
