One year in office -Plateau group rates Mikang Council boss Hon Kungmi high

Group operating under the auspices of Plateau Regeneration Group on Monday rated the Transition Committee Chairman of Mikang Local government council Hon Daniel Kungmi ,high over his efforts at boosting agriculture ,tourism and other economic activities in his local government council.

Our correspondent reports that the council boss clocked one year in office as Transition Committee Chairman at the weekend.

Speaking to newsmen the Public Relations Officer of the group Hon Pam Datiri ,said after carrying out our research in the 17 local government councils of Plateau “We want to rate Hon Kungmi as the most performing Council boss in the state in the past one year .”

” We have gone round the 17 local government council of Plateau and we want to say that the Chairman of Mikang stands out tall in terms of projects .”

” We commend the council boss for executing people centered projects in Mikang Local government.””

The group while accessing the fist one year of the Chairman described the various projects, programmes and initiatives as unprecedented in the local government’s history.

” We want to commend Hon Daniel Kungmi for prioritising the welfare and well-being of the people of the constituency.”

” The Council boss has done well in empowering farmers in the local government and we are assured of a bumpy harvest this farming session from the council ”

” Hon Kungmi is boosting tourism in the local government council , he is constructing roads to rural communities to boost easy transportation of food items .”

The group advised the Council boss to continue to channel more resources to the area for human capital development by equipping the constituents with more employment and empowerment opportunities.
