Onga Launches N250 Million Promo to Mark 10th Anniversary Amid Economic Hardship

Amid ongoing economic challenges, Onga seasoning brand celebrated its 10th anniversary on Thursday by launching the “Onga Taste the Millions” promo, aimed at rewarding its consumers with a total of N250 million in cash and prizes.

Speaking at the press event in Lagos, the CEO of Promasidor Nigeria Limited, Francois Gillet, announced that the promo would run from September 1 to October 31, 2024. Each week, 10 lucky winners will receive N1,000,000, five others will win N500,000, and additional prizes include N100,000, N50,000, and N10,000 cash awards, with over 1,800 winners set to receive blenders and gas cookers, while 200,000 others will win instant airtime.

Reflecting on the brand’s decade-long journey, Gillet highlighted Onga’s success as a testament to the trust and loyalty of its consumers. He noted that the promo is not only a celebration of Onga’s achievements but also a commitment to the brand’s future.

Marketing Director Adebola Williams expressed excitement, noting the promo will further solidify Onga’s position as Nigeria’s leading culinary brand. Promasidor’s Culinary Category Manager, Oladapo Oshuntoye, emphasized that the initiative was designed to bring joy and rewards to Nigerian households, reinforcing Onga’s role as a staple in Nigerian kitchens.
