Osinbajo Presides over FEC as Ministers’ Deadline Elapses

VP Yemi Osinbajo has managed the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, as the due date given to ministers for accommodation of handover notes terminates.

President Muhammadu Buhari had on April 17 requested a far reaching “status gives an account of approaches, projects and activities” from ministers on their separate services, offices and organizations.

Buhari, who is on a visit to Borno Thursday, will withdraw for the UK later in the day.

The due date for the accommodation of the reports to the Presidential Audit Committee in the workplace of the Vice-President was April 24.

The ninth and tenth FEC gatherings were rescheduled for April 25 and May 2 separately in perspective on the Easter break and May Day festivities.

All the more in this way, clergymen were coordinated to “guarantee that every exceptional update they expect to present to FEC are submitted to the Cabinet Affairs Office, in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, not later than April 30”.

No less than 21 serves close by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) Boss Mustapha and the Head of Civil Service of the Federation Winifred Oyo-Ita are in participation.
