Osun ALGON Inspects Ola-Iya flyover, supports Oyetola’s

By Richard Ayinde, Osogbo.

The Association of Local Government Chairmen of Nigeria (ALGON), Osun State Chapter, has appealed to the people of the state to reelect Governor Adegboyega Oyetola for second term to enable him continue the good works he started.

Speaking during the inspection of Olaiya flyover in Osogbo on Friday, Osun ALGON Chairman, Abiodun Idowu, expressed satisfaction over the completion of the Ola-Iya flyover, saying that Oyetola would do more if given second chance.

Noting that the flyover was one among other infrastructures built by Oyetola’s administration, the association urged the people of the state to reciprocate by trooping out on July 16 to reelect Oyetola for governor.

“The entire council chairmen of Osun state appreciate Governor Adegboyega Oyetola for creating this initiative and for getting it fulfilled, not only fulfilling but fulfilling to time and to promise. So we appreciate Mr Governor at our level by coming to see things ourselves and to pronounce the appreciation to the world.

The flyover is marvellous, fantastic because people that are conversant with this place before can testify that something remarkable have been put on around. It can also be described as innovation with an exception.

“Osun people are highly appreciative and educated and know the value of structure. So on July 16 the Osun people will do wonders positively in such way that Mr Governor will Know that people are appreciating him.

The Chairman, Ilesa West Local Council Development Area, Hon Falola Folarin said, this flyover is a wonderful, in fact a masterpiece, people always say “seeing is believing” no matter what we do there are bounds to criticism for whatever reasons maybe for political. Being an ijesha man, I will always speak the truth,so whoever wants to really testified to what we are seeing here,we would ask such people to kindly oblige just by viewing this wonderful job. My advise to the people is to take good care of this flyover and always obey the traffic rules and regulations.

Similarly, the Chairman, Irewole local government, Ikire, Mr Aderemi Abass, added that, “We all know the governor as being a man of standard and whatever he does he does,it is classical,so I’m not surprise that we are meeting here today, that has being a standard of doing things.Men of actions are not always known by word, when someone is an achiever he makes little noise but because it’s highly cerebral it’s always on its own working and that is why he has not disappoint us by keeping to time. My advice to osun people is to support Governor Oyetola in the upcoming election.

On her own, Hon.Bolanle Jimoh (a.k.a gbogbolomo) rep Osogbo south LCDA added that, “this flyover is a fantastic one and it’s what we have been expecting and we thank God for everything He has been doing for us in this state and make sure that he win the 2nd term for the upcoming election”.

The inspection witnessed the attendance of all the Local Government Chairmen, Vice Chairmen and Secretary of all the Council areas of the state.
