Osun PDP Accuses APC of spreading poverty

By Richard Akintade, Osogbo

The Chairman, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Osun state, Hon Olasoji Adagunodo has called for an urgent stop to the current hardship in the entire state.

This is contained in his new year message made available to newsmen in Osogbo on Wednesday.

According to Adagunodo “the people of Osun have to wake up and take their destiny in their hands by voting out the APC in the coming elections.”

The party chairman said “the hardship in the last 3 and half years is unacceptable and must not be extended ”

” I want to use this new year message to call on the good people of Osun to reject an extension of the hardship in the state by voting the APC out and bringing the PDP in during the forthcoming general elections in 2019.”

“The people of Osun knew progress and prosperity while the PDP ruled the state, they have tasted poverty through the APC and this failure and hardship must be stopped from February 2019” He added

While wishing the people of the state a promising and fulfilling new year, he assured them that “we can only move forward by rejecting those who brought this self-inflicted hardship on us”

He however called on the people of the state to intensify their support for the PDP and he assured them that they will soon begin to reap genuine dividends of democracy.

Adgunodo said, “for 2019 to be prosperous, new leadership must emerge to chart a new course for the nation in general and our state in particular.”

“its only an unwise man that keeps doing a thing the same way but expects a different result, It is time to do things differently and get better results”

The party chairman therefore prayed for peaceful and credible elections in the state and “encouraged the people of the state to ensure that their votes count.”
