Plateau Clergy Dachomo seeks more support for President Tinubu

A Clergy based in Plateau Rev Ezikel Dachomo, has urged residents of the State to continue supporting the leadership of President Bola Tinubu’s administration as it remains committed to reducing the hardship Nigerians are currently going through, assuring of better days in no distant future.

He made this known when Senator Nora Ladi Daduut donated food items ,clothings to victims of Plateau attacks in Barkin Ladi Local government council of the state.

Our correspondent reports that Senator Daduut had also donated relief materials to victims of attacks in Mangu and Bokkos local government council of the state.

He said , “when our communities were attacked recently ,the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu led administration immediately swang into action by ordering security chiefs to come to Plateau to come and access the situation .”

” Our President Bola Ahmed Tinubu gave marching order to the security operatives to ensure that lasting peace is restored in Plateau ,The president also directed the military to address the security challenges facing parts of the state ,this we did not witness in the previous administration .”

Rev Ezikel Dachomo who is also the Director Prayer and Evangelism Unit of the Church of Christ in Nations also lauded the first lady of the Federation Her Excellency Senator Oluremi Tinubu for recently donating the sum of N500m to 500 families affected by violent conflicts in six local government areas of Plateau State.

He applauded the Country’s first lady, Senator Remi Tinubu, for showing empathy to the victims of crises in Plateau State.

Dachomo while expressed appreciation to the President’s wife for coming to the aid of the victims of attacks who have been languishing in various IDP camps in some parts of the state noted that Senator Tinubu by that singular action has clearly demonstrated that she is a concerned mother of the nation, humane and kind hearted leader.

Dachomo who is in charge of the Displaced Persons in Barkin Ladi Local government council of Plateau state also lauded Senator Daduut for coming to donate food items and clothings to the victims.

He also called on Nigerians to be patient and continue to pray for the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu led administration to succeed.

Speaking earlier ,Senator Daduut who represented Plateau South Senatorial District in the 9th National assembly said I am here to commiserate with the People of Barkin Ladi over the unfortunate attacks that happened in the Council recently .”

” The victims really need a lot of relief materials to cushion the effects of this pains ,and I have come today in my small way to present these ,items .

In her words ” I recall that my friend and colleague Her Excellency Senator Oluremi Tinubu ,the first lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria came to Plateau State last year 2023 after the April – June 2023 monumental attacks which resulted in great losses of lives and properties , through her NGO ,the Renewed Hope Initiative ,she was able to provide relief of 500 Million Naira ,i wish to highly commend her for that intervention and wish to appeal to other Philanthropist to come to the aid of these victims .”

Prof Daduut added that ” The zeal of our first lady to uplift women out of poverty can not be underestimated, the launch of her initiative underscores the importance of empowering our womenfolk as an integral part of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration’s economic policies.

”We should also embark on fervent prayers for divine intervention, for God to prevent the recurrence of this killings, as well as the repose of the souls of the deceased persons.”

She also appealed to Government and security agencies to ensure improvement in the security surveillance so that normalcy would return in several communities of Plateau .

She extended her condolences to the families who lost their loved ones in the attacks

Daduut added, “No words can alleviate the pain they are enduring, but please know that our thoughts and prayers are with them during this difficult time.”

 

Items donated to the victims by the Senator includes several bags of rice, cartoons of Maggie ,and clothes for children and women .
