Plateau Group Laud Prof Maigoro Over His Transformative Visions ,drive at College of Education Gindiri

Plateau regeneration group on monday lauded the pragmatic transformative visions and drive of the provost of college of education in gindiri plateau state prof lazarus maigoro.

Deputy chairman of the group mr chong pius, who spoke with our correspondent said that the transformation development taking place in the institution was solely due to the visions and pragmatic efforts of the young and energetic provost prof maigoro.

The group described prof. Maigoro as a fine administrator, disciplinarian and quintessential leader of tremendous impact, not only to the college of education gindiri , but to plateau and nigeria as a whole.

“We also commend the provost for his friendly disposition towards students ,the administrative and non-teaching-staff of the institution. ”

They lauded the plateau state governor bar caleb mutfwang for appointing prof lazarus maigoro as the provost of the institution .

” prof maigoro is indeed a great man of purpose, vision, integrity, a great leader of all leaders and a blessing to many generations”

The group said prof lazarus maigoro on assumption of office supervised the accreditation of courses in the college as well as conducted promotion exercise for staffers of the college amongst others.

We much commend the provost of the institution for bring sanity to the college”.

From our findings “On assumption of office” the major challenge the provost met on ground when he arrived the institution was the expired accreditation status of virtually almost all the programmes in the college.”

“Prof maigoro immediately put in so many efforts and as we speak about a 27 men/women accreditation team came from the national commission for colleges of education, they came to the institution from 14 to 19 april 2024 and did their job and as we speak they believe they were satisfied and the institution is waiting for the report of the exercise.”

“The provost also met a back log of staff promotions which he was able to tackle because being a unionist the provost believe staff welfare is paramount and to the glory of god he has done that in fact he had to chip in some of his own personal funds to make this happen

Prof maigoro is doing well in improving security in the institution as since assumption of office, he has been able to provide security operatives stationed in the premises to bolster security so that staff and students and can feel secure.

The provost prof maigoro has always called for excellence among lecturers and students of the institution, in order to promote the education system of the institution and the students are in support of him, he added.
