Plateau state All progressive Congress Vanguard on Saturday rejects what it termed as advances to Join the APC

Spokesman, Plateau State APC Vanguards in a statement made available to newsmen in Jos reads that
we hereby issues this statement to unequivocally reject and condemn in the strongest possible terms the surreptitious moves by the Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang, to seek political refuge in the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The statement reads that “This calculated attempt to infiltrate our party is not only deceptive but an insult to the collective intelligence of the good people of Plateau State and a dangerous threat to the progressive values and legacy of the APC.”
” We strongly urge President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the National Working Committee of the APC, and all well-meaning progressives across the country to vehemently reject Governor Mutfwang’s desperate maneuvers to defect into our great party.”
” Allowing such a failed and divisive figure into our ranks would only bring misfortune, underperformance, and reputational damage to the APC.”
“We wish to reassure the national leadership of our great party that the APC in Plateau State is growing stronger by the day.”
” New political heavyweights are joining our movement in droves, including the former Director General of Governor Mutfwang’s own campaign organization, along with thousands of his disillusioned supporters.
This groundswell of support is a testament to the renewed confidence in our party’s vision, integrity, and the exemplary leadership of our current state leaders who are working tirelessly to return Plateau to the path of peace, progress, and prosperity.
Governor Mutfwang should stay in his party and answer to the people of Plateau State for the monumental failures of his administration.
The APC remains a home for visionary leadership, developmental politics, and inclusive governance — values that Barr. Caleb Mutfwang clearly does not represent.
They alleged that the Governor has failed woefully to deliver basic dividends of democracy.
