Plateau – Gunmen kill 4 Persons in Bassa LGA

Gunmen have killed four persons in Bassa local government council of Plateau state .

Our correspondent gathered that the gunmen launched an attack at a community called Nkienzha in Miango District of Rigwe Chiefdom,Bassa LGA of Plateau at about 11 pm on Sunday and set ablaze a house killing the four persons.

A statement signed by Davidson Malison ,the
outgoing National Publicity Secretary of Irigwe Development Association ( IDA) made available to newsmen reads that one person was also injured .

The statement further reads that the leadership of Irigwe Nation have described the resurgence of attacks and killing as callous and barbaric and cautioned the perpetrators to immediately put a halt on the mayhem being unleashed in the land.

The association call on security agencies to ensure that the perpetrators of this dastardly acts are arrested and prosecuted immediately.
