Plateau North 2023 – Youths endorse Simon Mwadkwon

” insist he is the best man for the Job “

A coalition of youth groups otherwise known as Plateau North Youths’ Grassroot Initiative (PNYGI) has endorsed the PDP Candidate Simon Mwadkwom as their preferred choice for the Saturday Senatorial zone election .

Our correspondent reports that Madkowm is the current member representing Riyom / Barkin Ladi in the house of representatives.

” Mwadkwom has been tested and trusted,he has what it takes to take the Plateau North Senatorial zone to greater heights” ,they added

The youths group comprising of all tribes in the Plateau North Senatorial district and several other youths Organisations endorsed Rep Mwadkwom after what they described their opinion polls and independent research.

A statement issued at the end of its enlarged meeting in Jos and made available to newsmen in Jos stated that the endorsement was very critical and was democratically done .

The communique jointly signed by the Chief Convener Mr Abdullah Nura and Mr Azi Atang said they have endorsed Hon Simon Mwadkwom because he is the best candidate for the Senate Job .

It read in part: “That the youth group being apolitical but being the watchers of events in Plateau North senatorial zone political arena applaud the development in Riyom and Barkin Ladi being championed by Hon Mwadkwom who is the candidate of the People’s Democratic party PDP for Plateau North Senatorial district race .

“That the group with a keen interest in what benefits the generality of the people of Plateau North urge the youths to participate fully in politics at the zone and national levels respectively to set the pace for others to follow.

“We also reviewed other candidates in the zone in the race but the majority of the youths rooted for Rep Mwadkwom .

“Having watched with keen interest and conducted our research and opinion poll on the forthcoming Plateau North senatorial election we hereby throw our weight and support Rep Mwadkwom .

“We endorse the PDP Candidate for Plateau North Senatorial district Simon Mwadkwom based on our independent research on his achievements since he has been in the house of representatives for the past four years. We the youths of Plateau North want him to be elected into to the senate

“That our endorsement for Rep Mwadkwom is not farfetched based on his experience, attraction of infrastructural development to the zone, empowerments and skill acquisition programmes, putting smiles on the faces of the needy, widows and less privileged. as a rep member .


“We also urge citizens of the zone to support our endorsement of Rep Mwadkwom by coming out to vote massively for him on Saturday at the polls.
