Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District Simon Bako Lalong has inaugurated some projects executed in his Senatorial District.
Senator Lalong who received a rousing welcome from his supporters and citizens of the Senatorial zone expressed delight that some of his interventions were impacting the lives of the people.

Special Adviser Media to Senator Simon Bako Lalong, Plateau South Senatorial District reads that on the first day of his visit, Senator Lalong began the Commissioning of projects with the inauguration of a Motorised Borehole in Lifidi, Mikang Local Government Area where he was told by the constituents that the intervention was life-saving and a source of relief for the entire village.
He paid homage to the traditional ruler and promised to do more in the coming months and years as he is determined to make a difference in the lives of his constituents.
The Senator thereafter proceeded to inaugurate a block of Primary School Classrooms in Shinkwan, Shendam Local Government where the traditional ruler expressed excitement that the legislator has prioratised education as his immediate intervention to the community.
Lalong after inaugurating the classroom block addressed the community and pupils assuring them that his passion for education, health and empowerment will continue to see further interventions.
He proceeded to inspect the completed 100 bed SDGs Muhammadu Buhari Hospital located in Dabat, Quaan-Pan LGA which he attracted to the area during his tenure as Governor which he continued to follow up its completion after assuming the Senator seat.
He thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for completing the hospital and equipping it having inherited it from the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari.
Senator Lalong expressed satisfaction with the quality of work, standard facilities and said he was working to ensure that it is commissioned and put into use immediately.
According to Senator Lalong, the state of the art hospital when operational will be one of the best in the whole of the Senatorial zone because of the equipment and services expected to be offered.
Another project inaugurated by Senator Lalong was the Solar-powered Streets Lights in Bakin-Ciyawa, Quaan-Pan LGA where the traditional ruler and community leaders praised Senator Lalong for touching their community positively.
They promised to reciprocate by giving him more support more than what they did during the last elections.
Afterwards, Senator Lalong proceeded Shimankar Community in Shendam LGA to sympathise with the community over the recent disturbances in the community.
He commended the Traditional Ruler the Long Menkaat Miskoom Manu Danjuma for his proactive steps during the crises which brought matters under control.
Thereafter, he inaugurated the reconstructed Administration Block at the General Hospital, Shendam and handed over the keys to Pam Joshua Danladi, the Hospital Secretary.
Lalong said he was moved to intervene in the hospital because of his passion for healthcare of his people.
The hospital secretary thanked the Senator for the intervention which he said will revolutionise service delivery in the hospital. He pleaded with Senator Lalong to assist with Air conditioning for the pharmacy and other areas which the Senator promised to provide immediately.
He concluded his first day of Constituency visit with an inspection of the reconstructed Total Bridge, Shendam which collapsed over a year ago.
The Senator expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu and Minister of Works Dave Umahi for their support to reconstructing the bridge within a short time.
He also inaugurated the Solar-Powered Streets Lights at the Total area, saying he will continue to serve his people and do more in the years ahead.
