Police arrest 3 suspected kidnappers, recover ammunition in Bayelsa

Three suspected kidnappers have been apprehended by Operatives of the Anti Kidnapping unit, Bayelsa State Command.

The Bayelsa State Police Public Relation Officer, SP Butswat Asinim made this known on Saturday in a statement made available to newsmen in Yenagoa.

Items recovered from the syndicate include; one .9mm ammunition, Red Toyota Camry with mutilated plate number and one million naira cash.

The Police image maker said, the suspects were arrested at their hideout at Biogbolo community, Yenagoa, following a tip-off that they wanted to procure an AK 47 Riffle to carry out a Kidnap.

The suspects includes, Emmanuel Ebisco ‘m’ 38 years, Williams Zikena ‘m’ 39 years, Ekparola Okumo ‘m’ 35 years.

He noted that the suspects are in custody and will be charged to court upon completion of investigation.
