Police in Bauchi successfully rescue kidnapped Plateau pastor along with three other hostages.

Bauchi State Police Command successfully rescues four individuals, including Pastor Bala, abducted by bandits in Raddi village, Plateau State. The bandits, targeting Yakubu Makeri’s house, were met with swift action from police operatives and local vigilantes, leading to a gun battle. During the encounter, one bandit was neutralized, and the remaining assailants fled, leaving their mission unaccomplished. The rescued victims, hailing from Jos, Plateau State, were identified as Pastor Bala (50), Keziya Ayuba (50), and Sunday Ayuba (40). The Commissioner of Police emphasizes the need for intensified patrols to apprehend the fleeing bandits and ensure they face legal consequences.
