During the encounter, one bandit was neutralized, and the remaining assailants fled, leaving their mission unaccomplished. The rescued victims, hailing from Jos, Plateau State, were identified as Pastor Bala (50), Keziya Ayuba (50), and Sunday Ayuba (40). The Commissioner of Police emphasizes the need for intensified patrols to apprehend the fleeing bandits and ensure they face legal consequences.
