Power Collision As Bafarawa And Jarma Fixed Marriage Of Their Daughters Same Date,Same Time

By Muhammad Ibrahim, Sokoto

Attahiru Dalhatu Bafarawa born 4th November 1954 became the civilian governor of Sokoto state on 29th may 1999 and had a political power broker in the person of Jarman Sokoto, Alhaji Umarun Kwabo who is business tycoon.

Bafarawa was a civilian governor that associated his power with Jarma who appointed positions with words of mouth. He can change Commissioners or any political office holder with ordinary words of mouth, that powerful.

They had been in the Peoples Democratic Party right from inception in 1989 and had cordial working relationship until recently when gubernatorial primary was conducted in Sokoto.

To his assumption, Attahiru Bafarawa and Governor Tambuwal would support the serving deputy Governor, Alhaji Manir Dan’iya for governorship seat but turned out to give a different history.

Manir Dan’iya happens to be best loved individual loved by Jarma and could spend any whooping amount to see that Manir become the next governor of Sokoto state,

Annoyed with the primaries that saw the son of Bafarawa,Sagir as the deputy,Jarman left Sokoto since then and has not come to Sokoto.

Through societal hearing and belief,Jarma is changing party away from PDP, the reason why there is collision as the duo fixed the wedding of their daughters same date and same time!
Political power will be displayed on the 26th of this month, as to who draws majority of politicians and well wishers then!
