Nigerians have been enjoined to pray more for the progress of this great country and for the peaceful coexistence, unity and fruitful livelihood.
The call was made by the Imams across Kano state in their sermons after Eid Prayers, where they tasked the leaders to be fair to all no matter how the challenges they may encounter.
Malam Usman Abdullahi who lead prayers at Dungurawa Eid-elderly pray bound, Malam Abbas Musa who lead a prayer at Tsanyawa and Ustaz Nasiru Adamu from Gaya charged Muslims Umma as well as the Christians to pray for this country for better Nigeria.
Our correspondent who monitored how this year’s Eid-elections Kabir celebration is ongoing reported that there was a hitch free festivals across the state while people were seen exchanging pleasantries in a hapay mood which indicated that things have gone smoothly.
Furthermore, the security situation is also satisfactorily because all categories of security agents were seen protecting every places of gatherings like kano Zoological garden, Shoprite, Race course, and other important areas.
