President Tinubu Approves New Appointments In Key Agencies

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has approved the redeployment of Hon. Musa Sarkin Adar as the Chairman, National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA) to Executive Secretary, Nigeria Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (NEITI) and has appointed Mukhtar Shehu Shagari, CFR as the Chairman, National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA).

According to the press statement signed by the Director, Information and Public Relations in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Segun Imohiosen, the president said both the redeployment and appointment take immediate effect.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu urges the newly appointed and redeployed officials to be patriotic and to bring their wealth of experience to bear in strengthening transparency, accountability, and effective service delivery within their respective agencies.
