Profile of Dr. Sa’id Kori, Who Transforms Nigerian Architecture

DR. Sa’id Kori is a prominent figure in Nigerian architectural space. He is the Group Chief Executive officer of Thinklab Group and the pioneer chairman, advisory board of BIM Africa.

Born on July 2, 1987, in Maiduguri, Borno State, Nigeria to Alkali Kori Sa’id and Hajiya Hadia Bukar Alkali.

He attended Shehu Garbai primary School and Imam Malik Secondary School in Maiduguri where he demonstrated exceptional qualities at a very young age.

His architectural journey started in University of Science and technology Yola, He later proceeded further in his passion in University of Salford and University of Liverpool where he obtained his PhD in Architecture.

Dr. Kori aside from being an exceptional architectect, he is a philanthropist who has awarded scholarships to over 10,000 Students across Nigeria through his foundation, Thinklab foundation.
Thinklab Charity Foundation over the years has focused on providing support for education, healthcare and community development.

Aside from practicing architecture, Dr. Kori has also impacted knowledge by teaching architecture at the University of Liverpool and Ramat Polytechnic in Maiduguri.
Dr. Kori has published many articles over the years in the course of his career which include International Journal of Latest trends in Engineering and Technology, international journal of advanced research, journal of building and environmental engineering amongst others.

Dr. Kori is a versatile individual with various skills in Architecture, Project management, sustainable development, building information modelling, Digital architectural design, team management and leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. Dr. Kori is happily married with 4 beautiful Children.
