Reactions Trails Kano Singer’s Death Sentence, As Council Of Ulama Pressurised Ganduje To Sign The Death Warrant.

Since the Kano Shari’a court sentenced singer Aminu Yahaya whose song was a blasphemy against the holy prophet Muhammad, reactions trails the judgement where some human rights groups and other domestic activist seek the review of the death sentence to other alternative.

But in their separate reactions the Kano state council of Juma’at mosque Imams under the leadership of Sheikh Muhammad Nasir Adam canvassed their supports to the Kano Shari’a court judgement where they called on the Kano state governor Abdullahi Ganduje to sign the singer’s death warrant with immediate effect.

Similarly, the commander of the kano state shari’ah police board known as Hisbah Sheikh Haroun Ibn Sina supported the judgement because according to the board, Yahaya Aminu has really committed an offence that his punishment is death sentence as in accordance to the Islamic law.

Our correspondent who went round the city of Kano gathered that various Muslims groups and associations called on the governor to urgently sign Aminu Yahaya’s death warrant in order to execute him in accordance to Islamic teachings that whoever insulted the holy prophet should be killed.
