Reopening of schools: FCTA fumigates, distributes masks, sanitizers to exiting students

In a bid to reopen schools for existing students in SS3 and JSS 3 , the Federal Capital Territory Administration, FCTA said it has fumigated secondary schools in the territory as well as carried out distribution of facemask, hand sanitizers and infrared thermometers for use respective schools.

In a statement signed by the FCT Education Secretariat, Public Relations Office MUSA KABIRU, items made available include 770 infrared thermometers, 1200 surgical face masks, 14,000 pieces of various types of fabric face masks, 18,000 500ml hand sanitizers.

Chairman of FCTA Secondary Education Board Yahaya Musa Muhammad said that the exercise is in compliance with the NCDC guidelines on the reopening of schools as well as the protocols set by the Presidential Taskforce on COVID-Muhammad, explained yesterday that reooening of schools in the FCT
