Former Chairman of Ekeremor Local Government Area, Hon. Selekebina Saboh, has commended the Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, for commissioning the new Bayelsa Area Office building.
Speaking to journalists at the event, Hon. Saboh—an APC chieftain—described the new office, named Melford Okilo House, as a significant step toward strengthening NDDC operations in the state.
He praised Dr. Ogbuku for his commitment to infrastructure and human capital development across the Niger Delta, highlighting ongoing legacy projects such as road and bridge construction, shoreline protection, healthcare interventions, educational support, solar installations, and youth empowerment initiatives.
The grassroots politician urged Bayelsans and stakeholders in the region to support Dr. Ogbuku’s leadership, expressing confidence in his ability to continue transforming lives and communities.
According to him, the new office building reflects Dr. Ogbuku’s dedication to excellence and his vision for a more impactful and efficient NDDC.
