Sack the MD and laboratory Scientist- Adamawa Protesters

Some workers of the Specialist Hospital Yola, the capital of Adamawa state have expressed their grievances by demanding for the sack of the Medical Director MD of the hospital Dr. Wadinga Dauda and laboratory Scientist.

The aggrieved workers on Monday were protesting with placads over alleged illegal we of laboratory Scientist and lack of human relations by the MD.

Our Correspondent reports that the Leader of the Protesters, Mr Awwal Lau from Medical Records Department accused the MD of employing non indigenes, operating a parallel laboratory in the hospital and lack of human relations with staff.

In response the MD said he took over, the Pharmacy department when it was indebted with N39m as a result of alleged involvement of staff in diversion of drugs.

The MD said blocking leakages from diversion of funds and equipment in the hospital resulted in the transformation of Accident and Emergency services laboratory; where liver test, full blood count and PSA are conducted instantly.
